How to Delete Your NumaHaven Account and Data
NumaHaven makes it easy to delete your account and all associated personal data. You can do this in two ways.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the NumaHaven app
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Scroll to the Delete Account section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the action
- Enter your password when prompted (users signed in with Google are not asked for a password)
Your account and all associated data will be immediately and permanently deleted. You will be signed out on all devices.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email numahaven@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will verify the request and delete your account within 7 business days.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your email address, display name, and password hash
- All journal entries you have written
- All mood check-ins and energy levels
- All assessment responses and scores
- All AI-generated wellness plans and summaries
- All practice session logs and post-session reflections
- All goals and goal check-ins
- All practice week tracking data
- All consent records
- All authentication tokens (access and refresh)
- All OAuth linking records (if you used Google Sign-In)
What Is NOT Retained
We do not retain any data that can personally identify you after deletion.
Anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g. "number of users who completed a breathing exercise in March") may be retained for service improvement. Such data cannot be linked back to you.
Timeline
- In-app deletion: data is deleted immediately through a database transaction; backups that may contain your data are overwritten within 30 days
- Email-requested deletion: we aim to complete within 7 business days of verifying your identity
- Full backup rotation: all your data is guaranteed to be removed from backups within 30 days of the deletion request
Your Rights After Deletion
After deletion, we retain no personal data about you. If you wish to use NumaHaven again, you will need to create a new account. Previous data cannot be restored.
